I spent most of the two days at the stand and it was great to meet so many people who were so passionate about Geography and keen to support what we're doing! _________________ www.geogtastic.blogspot.com

With Victoria and Rob, above, I spent two days at the GA Conference at Derby on the GGiP stand. I met a lot of people who knew about the campaign and supported it ... to the extent that they really wanted to get the GGiP badges and T-shirts, they wanted to be a part of the campaign.
Of those who did not know about GGiP, and many of them were students, there was an overhwelming receptiveness to the basic campaign message and only one person, as far as I know, argues with some coomitment against us (Dan took him on) and this exchange was unwittingly captured on several of my photos of the stand ... and the SLN visitors (and others) that came to see us, and agreed to be photographed in front of the GGiP logos, T-shirts - and Victoria's printed hands!
I thought the stand was a great success in spreading the word and, most importantly, giving web correspondents a chance to meet with one another and talk things over, by being a place they could always find one or more of us.
